Anyone tried them & recommend them? I'm looking for a large volume winter tyre which isn't excessively heavy but will take some abuse & give me some grip in the mud & on wet roots.

yer iv just put a set on for winter.
there ok on wet grass / mud but not ridden wet roots yet they roll well on road. if you want a sticky front get black chilli i got the normal one's.
you need to be ridding fast to shift the mud from them but i like em.
there only £16 from halfords.0 -
They're less at RRP.A Flock of Birds

Not sure if I should get the folding ones for £50 (pair) or black chilli for £90 (pair).
Will black chilli be that much better?Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
some DH riders use the chilli one's so i would say yes. But never tryed them as i don't ride that hard.
the one's i got are £16.99 each http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_2425530 -
