Polar HRM and Windows 7

I've just bought a new computer with Windows 7 64bit and found I can't install the downloaded driver for my IR interface whic I use wiht my S720i. On reading Polar's rather uninformative website it seems that the problem may be due to the drivers being for a more recent IR interface and that mine is no longer supported. Can anyone provide any clarification on this. Also is the current IR unit likely to be compatible wiht Windows 7 64?

    Your reading of the Polar site is correct. The old IR sticks do not work with Vista and above. The newer IR sticks do work with Vista and above. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 so you will not have any issue. No driver installation required either as it will work out of the box.
