LIstening to Sunday's Huey Show from 6 Music. How Can You mend a Broken Heart by Al Green just finished. I had to just sit and listen, absolutely stunning.
Not one of his better shows otherwise. But he usually plays some corkers. Anyway, you've got to love a sceptic that says The Clash are his favourite band.

Whenever a PC (computer, not 'gawn mayd') question arises it gathers a lot of responses so in advance of it being on, notice that at 4:00 today (Friday if it's not) Last Word on R4 has an obit for Dennis Ritchie. If you've heard of him you'll know it's worth putting 6 minutes & 20 seconds of your Friday aside for him, and if you haven't he's still worth it.

Listening to Radcliffe & Maconie at the minute, with a Squeeze track on the go. Coffee In Bed. I've heard worse.

Gogol Bordello right now, but my sansaclip is on shuffle so things could take a turn for the worse very soon.

No, Biffy Clyro. I'll take that.

followed by Anthony and the jonsons, not as mental a mix as my old ipod used to churn out, but there's less sh1t on the sansa.

Now its Ben folds not as good on his own as the first couple of ben folds 5 albums but still good. His solo live album is fantastic.

Unbearable gloating about UK banks share prices this morning.

I wouldn't mind so much if the price was higher than when they bought in.

One of my colleagues murdering Echo Beach. Ho only knows the line "Echo Beach, far away in time" and keeps repeating it. He certainly ain't Martha, or even a Muffin come to that. Shame as I quite like the song.
