Lucky so and so. How was it? Just checked my crappy bike out and found a cracked fork steerer. Don't have an Italian BB otherwise I would have swaped everything to my Colnago to do the same.0

I've got one with one screwed cup!
Yeah cool. Really smooth ride, stiffer at bb than my raw steel but heavier also. Bars are great. Saddle is a no go.I can't quite get it forward enough on the rails on the layback post. Gonna swap it for a regal, should sort that out as rails further back on that saddle and hopefully the problem of needing an extra 4mm height with the post at max. I'm guessing a regal will be about 5-10mm higher in side profile than the Antares. Will look better too.
Other than that, happy enough but need to get the glove like fit sorted. Can't really comment any more until that's done.0 -

Got a bit filthy today
Wheels are holding me up finishing this one. At present I'm using one sl42 and one model b pinched off the missus' bike as I cracked my front sl42. Got some dura ace hubs to build up with hed Belgiums but can't get hold of a 28 hole rim. So think I'm gonna take the sl42s apart for now and build a set of 32h velocity a23s to use as touring/winter wheels and build the heds up next year.
Been for a few long spins and am really happy with it.0 -
