Oh good shout on Braindead, Peter Jackson wasn't it? Even with no budget, they crammed some really good effects in that one

I think Peter Jackson was one of the guys who ate the vomit towards the end.

The bit where they blew up the sheep with a RPG had me in stitches!

    My personal faves (with IMDB links for the obscure ones);
Night/Dawn/Day of the Dead (original ones)
    Return of the Living Dead
    Zombie Creeping Flesh
    Nightmare City
    Nights of Terror
The above three are a guilty pleasure
    28 Days Later
    Rec/Rec 2/Quarantine
Shaun of the Dead (watch it with the trivia track on, if a films mentioned on there it's pretty good)
    Zombie Flesh Eaters
The Walking Dead (series 2 starts in less than 2 weeks)
I like zombie films, my list could've been a lot longer.....

Planet Terror steps things up a bit with it's Mutant Zombies.

As for Human Centipede, I have to echo what's been said before. Although, I'm not saying that it's a bad film. It's just that once you've seen it, you can't un-see it. You'll hate yourself for having watched it and you'll try and stop your friends from watching it. But they'll watch it anyway, regret watching it and then they'll tell all their friends not to watch it.

    DO NOT WATCH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good call. Can anyone remind me what channel The Walking Dead is on?

PS: forgot about Dead Set - liked that as well.

How he ever managed to land Lord of the Rings almost straight after those films, I'll never know.

    Straight after?

Bad Taste was filmed back in the 80's.

I remember watching that as a student and I graduated in 1990 8)

He moved on to Heavenly Creatures and The Frighteners first.

But Bad Taste is pure genius. Where the Alien is chopped through with a chainsaw is just brilliant. And what a brilliant job of LOTR....
