Well at least you've got some sense of humour. Must be exposure to the Crudcatcher?

Here's a clue to what the Crudcatcher is all about - read Kitty and Bint's 'Grill the Gash' thread. You might pick up some handy hints

  • Wife uses husbands credit unauthorized because she is legally allowed to, and the husband has to pay.

Not in the UK. Unauthorised use of credit is fraud, no matter which gender does it.

And in the U.K. divorce laws were the same as I last checked, women gets whatever she wants that her lawyer (that of course her husband in principle is paying for) can get her. You sound like Judith from 2 and a half men.

That must mean that you are either dual qualified, or have been divorced a lot. If the latter, you can't have very good judgement!

When married, your credit is tied to your spouse as well, so if they have good credit, your score goes up. If you have no job it is still able to get credit, even without the other spouses permission. In those situations, the one who has to pay is the one with the job, no matter whether they took that loan out, you are responsible for your wife, so you have to pay if she can't.

I wasn't talking about her using the spouses name, but using their credit together, and then the husband having to take up the slack.

Are you seriously trying to say that women only ever do this to men, and that there are no men at all who rack up a load of debt that their wife/girlfriend being the responsible one in the relationship, has to deal with.

Is that really what you are saying?

In the terms of the law, yes that is what i'm saying. If a man gets into a huge amount of debt, the woman will not have to cover the debts legally, but if the woman does it, the man does.

    Wow! Really? Are you sure?

That is not the case in the UK at all. I think both the men and women of Austria need a hefty dose of equality.

Brilliant. Thread rounded off nicely by an epic MANFAIL after sheepshagger fails to read the thread carefully and offers to take up Mountainman's slack.

Thanks Chaps, for providing much entertainment on what was a very slow day at work!
  • Your very welcome, and I say the same back! Brought many good smiles and laughs for me :)

Although i'm a bit worried about sheep wanting to take up my slack, he seems to need to tell us something.

Just enjoyed reading this thread, some good laugh out loud bits.

Do the commuting and road forums have a monthly draw to see which one of them comes to the CC to perpetuate an already top thread and then see who has can push it to the most pages?

I'm starting to think so, it seems everyone from the Commuting forum is extremely dull to speak with though. Same with every other person who comes boasting their from the Commuter forum, like that is something to be proud of.
