But on the other hand, how about looking at it from a guys point of view? Even if we work our asses of, and earn well, everything goes to the women. Handbags, shoes...... Should a woman divorce a man, she automatically gets half of what he has, no matter if she has ever worked a day in her life or not. Men are expected to keep the household income up, regardless of whether the woman works or not, and should he alone not be able to support a family, the blame lies with him should something happen. any phyiscal work has to be done by the man, for fear of breaking a nail is too large for women.

Not every pair has kids. Even if the wife sits at home watching t.v., she gets everything. I know quite a few women who if their husband was rich, they are the type to divorce so they get a free house and free money every month to live how they want, and they have no kids.

I don't know about Austria, but that is not the case in the UK. Both spouses are jointly responsible for joint debts, and council tax etc.

This is exactly what I mean, jointly responsible for debts, even if the other is not working and racked this stuff up under her debt. Wife uses husbands credit unauthorized because she is legally allowed to, and the husband has to pay. Absolutely retarded, so don't tell me women have it so hard.
