Reasonably big break has gone up ahead which is well represented, and the peloton looks to be dawdling.0

Duh.
Still looks rubbish.0 -
McEwen's getting angry with the peloton for not chasing.
Burghart decides to listen and drill the front > seems a bit silly given Van Avermaert is going hard at the front of the break.0 -

Gilbert in a small group just off the front of the peloton.

Peloton at 1.20 - no chance.
Marcato and Van Avermaet looking good . Interesting, as they're both pretty fast sprinters; not sure who'd be faster normally in a sprint a deux0 -
Marcato doing more work - another Belgian victory in Tours?0

Excellent, exciting edition. So animated throughout.
Well done the GVA and MM for timing it to perfection.

Belgians continue to dominate the one-dayers in 2012.
MS-R and the Worlds are the only two of the bigger races they haven't bagged.0 -

Great win - again an impressive neo-pro. Won the Baby Giro last year. Going to be a good one.
Mollema makes the classic finish-line mistake. Still, having a very strong end of season0 -
Not happy about non european sucking the life out the european races. Top riders heading to smog laden China for a poodle about and leaving the big classic races without the big names. The US races are in the same boat for me. They got no history just money to lure the Teams in. Tosh!!

Rumour has it that the UCI want RCS to move the Tour of Lombardy to the Saturday before Paris-Tours next year, presumably to stop a clash with the Tour of Beijing.0
