Looking great fella!
How you find the tubeless?? Is a strabge feeling when the back looses air, Very squishy!! Do find the back end is Incredibly light, skippy but quite nice!!
Don't worry about the little bits! They are the ones that mean a lot to us bike tarts! :-DTimmo.
After all, I am Cornish!

Thanks again! I've found the back end feels more floaty, but I know where you’re coming from.
Anyway, cables needed a change so figured whilst I was at it I'd stick some cable oilers on, in blue of course, and added the Transfil waterproofing kit (bargain at £3). I also stuck on a new double specific front mech whilst I was at it, seems to shift better than the old one and looks better as the cage is smaller!
And a pic in the wild from a couple of nights ago at the bottom of the 'Beast' in the Peaks:

Lovely bike mate, really like those souls!
Also, how do those cable oilers work? (sorry if that's a stupid question, I've never seen them before)
Rode the beast for the first time a few weeks back, such a fun descent! Silly gnarly, especially at speed. I've not ridden it on the hardtail though, it's probably a fair bit tougher! lol0 -
Coming on great fella!!
ILD - you roll the oring off and drop lube down the hole in the bit then pop the Oring back on! Voila!Timmo.

Cheers mate
What allthegear says, though I was under the impression you stuck the straw from WD40/GT85 in the hole and it blasts all the dirt out as well as lubing the cables.
I hadn't actually come down the Beast, I came down Potato Alley instead, having rode both once before I remember preferring it and it made my ride longer whilst not too long to get back to the car before dark.0 -
Fair enough, I've only ever ridden the peaks twice, so I don't really know that area too well.0
-
I've not ridden it much either to be honest, though hoping to ride Jaccobs Ladder tomorrow so looking forward to that!0
-
Ah nice, where abouts is that? Me and the lads I was riding with the other day were wondering where it is...0
-
Between Edale and Hayfield, pretty sure I'm going to do this route.0
-
I rode Jacobs on Saturday! Tbh it was my least favourite part if the loop!!0
-
like the look of them oilers. wouldnt mind getting some for my soul. aint seen them in orange though0

A couple of new additions over the last couple of months:
Xfusion Hilo, picked up second hand, this weekend will be it's first outing
Had been losing my chain so got a Bionicon C.GUIDE V.02, works a treat:
Gone SPD with some new pedals:
And after seriously bend my rear rotor, got some second hand Shimano RT76, which seem to have improved braking (probably a placebo!)
And a pic of the whole bike:
Think the bike is as good as its going to get now, so other than maybe more blue stuff and 10 speed when the 9 is worn out, think I'm done!0 -
An sdjustable post! (Was it on ebay?? - was nosing the other week out of boredom and saw an Xfusion)
What pressures are you running the nics at btw?? Recently chucked a pair on mine, feels like the back isn't ever happy, strange feeling on road too!
Was extolling the virtues to a riding friend who's contemplating one the other day! Too much of a Great bike!!Timmo.

Seatpost was bought from a chap over on STW, though I did spot the ebay one, haven't looked how much it went for!
I run the nics at 25-27ish at the front and about 30 out back, seems to work for me, though I've never really tried anything else tbh.
I love mine, a lot, though I've ridden a few FS bikes recently on demos days and have fallen for the Blur TRc, which fortunately I can afford, £2,700 is crazy money for a frame!0 -
It was always going to happen (excuse the battered cage)
