    Hi all,

    I've not posted on this forum before - you like a lively debate don't you?

    I started with Linz at 6pm and supported him for the first 60 miles on my MTB (both marathon courses and then onto the bike course down to Putney Bridge). He headed off into the night at about 12.30.

    I then had a couple of glasses of wine with his bro who lives in Fulham and had set us up with a pasta supper while Linz set off to Box Hill through the park and beyond. He was picked up by another mate at RIchmond and the rest of the ride was fully verified (as posted above).

    He's a nutter!

    Ok my apologies - I misread the OP and accept that the 2 guys did 'up to 40mph' down Box Hill on a Boris Bike.

    I wonder how many times a magazine rack has been a factor on a downhill run ?
