    Your girlfriend won't be your girlfriend for long if she's out getting smashed in the kcal club and you're sat at home watching Masterchef as you don't want the calories!

    I'll be honest, smoking and drinking, of which I do both on a weekly basis have so far had little effect on my cycling, so don't worry about having a beer, afterall you're only young once.

    Well, she's Muslim and I've just found out that muslims can't drink. It turns out that each time she goes out with her friends, she drinks coke :). I don't really like drinking much either, so it's a win win.

    Makes small difference at amateur level I think. Assuming you do it in moderation of course.
