Is there any chance you could alert us more often about updates? I'd really, really hate to miss any of your posts.0

I can sense a tiny bit of sarcasm there, but if you're being serious, follow us on Facebook or Twitter, they get updated as soon as a new post comes on.0 -

i think the underwelming part is that you are training up for races, even cat 4 races are above 25mph for ateast 2 hours so going on your current sats you may struggle at little.
but still keep it up!0 -

Nice to see some encouragement for the youth interested in cycling rather than turning them off to it and leading the way with the midle aged man in lycra tag. nice one! :roll:0 -

We havn't posted hardly any stats, apart from that one club run. Both of us ride much faster during the week, and if you look in the the near future, we're going to have a ride log with all our stats.0 -

We have a few more posts up since we last updated. Some time next week, we'll also have an interview with two of this year's tour de france riders, so keep looking

How very patronising to our young and irritating bloggers. Why don't you pat them on the head? I'm sure they can stick up for themselves, in fact, they've already deflected my sarcasm with suitable aplomb.
MAMIL? Have you seen the state of this kid's ipod? Heather Small?
I'm off to listen to some dubstep.0 -

Woah! Leave Heather Small alone! Are we really irritating?0 -
Several new posts, including one from a guy who is currently at uni in the US.
Once again, thanks everyone for their support.
Love you Jim.

Thank you,
Can't wait to read a post from an actual US student. What a scoop.
Keep em coming boys.
You're still irritating though. Amusing, well mannered but irritating.0 -

Quite a quick response by your standards. Have you subscribed to this thread? :P It means alot to us if you have. Shows your real love.0 -
Nah, he's not subscribed, just another keyboard jockey not riding his bike whilst criticising others on the internet ... what a fun life he must lead eh ???
Keep up the good work Velostage and hoope that you don't grow old and bitter like some miserable gits do :-)
Cheers,

Mate, I'm indulging in a bit of light hearted banter with a couple of young individuals who very obviously have a good sense of humour.
What are you doing?0 -

Hey, no worries.
I'm sure you don't need me fighting your battles, I just though he was being rude and obnoxious.
No need for that, I was brought up to say nice things and if I couldn't it would probably best not saying them.
Keep the blog going, it's entertaining and light hearted. Kind of makes me wish i had the same get up and go at your age.
Cheers,
Si :-)0 -

Good grief. Perhaps I was wrong about you kids having a sense of humour. Anyway I've been bumping this irritating thread back to the top for ages now. You can't buy that kind of free advertising. Even in Enid Blyton land where Simonhi appears to have been brought up.
Really though guys, I'll stop if you're getting upset, I don't want yer mum coming on and telling me off. I honestly thought it was all a bit of a laugh.
As you were.0 -

I was just saying, your recent posts havn't been as good as your first one or two. We're not getting upset, we're just not finding them as funny to respond to. Thanks for the free bumps, much appreciated.0 -

Ah didums, I don't think Jim likes it when he gets a bit back, doesn't like to play with the kids !!!!
Enid Blyton ? You really are showing your age old man ;-)0 -

Can I assume from your barely intelligible reply that you do like to play with the kids?
Can't say I'm terribly surprised.
Anyway, until you dived in I thought they were taking it in good part and giving at least as good as they got. I quite like them. They've got spirit. Blog's not even bad either.
Also, I'm rather interested in your fixation with my age. I imagine I'm younger than you think. Though not young enough for you to be getting an funny ideas.
I can't place your age either for what it's worth, though I suspect it is well masked by extremely low literacy and spelling ability.0 -

Oo, the insults are killing me, why does it hurt so much. Seriously though, literacy and spelling ability? Grow up you mug.
Any way in which you choose to get at me is fine Jimbo. It really has degenerated into childish jostling so maybe I shouldl be the adult and stop right here.0 -
Well, hopefully everyone has calmed down now. As promised, we sent off your questions to Ben Swift's PR. Answers below :

Quite calm thank you boys. Can't speak for Simon though, I do hope he's ok, don't you?
Anyway, under the circumstances (and please don't take this the wrong way) it'll have to be me who points out to you that have and of do not share the same meaning.
eg.
'Maybe I shouldn't of done that' should be 'Maybe I shouldn't have done that'.
I only mention it because it sticks out like a sore thumb in an otherwise professional looking blog.
Keep up the good work boys.0 -

How helpful,
Is that for Simon or the boys?
They do all tend to get a little muddled.0 -

your tour plan seemed doomed from the start.
you can probably get away with a saddlebag/YHA tour in the UK at that time of year. it'll certainly get you ready to race.0
