Personally i would of gone for blue finishing kit but it still looks a fun bike to ride0

Already had the red kit so seemed a waste not to use it, also it will be getting a revamp over winter.

Probably a stupid question, but what is the fabric thing in between the front forks, above the wheel?0

It's a nenoprene mudguard by Rapidrace products.0 -
Ok since I took the first photos Ive never been happy with the routing for the dropper post and was going to weld some lugs onto the frame to attach it but decided to try another method, cheers to DodgeT for the glue (sniff).
M part cable clips glued to the frame.0 -
Also changed forks to 160mm Domains, far more suited to the riding I do, also gone are the red components and replaced with black,
New 203mm rotors both ends, rear wheel now has 10mm bolt through axle,

Just ordered the paint, white with a hint of blue to make it really bright, lacquer with silver sparkle added to give the white a nice glint, oh and a taster of the decals, along the lines of these but customised to the bike,

can't wait to see the firsted product, got a feeling it's going to look sick. good luck with the final build0

Hmm a laquer with a pearlescent in it? I think I could have done with something like that - Can't wait to see what yours comes out like. I was looking at the exact same decals from Slik as well thinking I'd see if they would custom them. Looking forward to this project.0

Cheers, will keep updating as I progress.0

Ok so stripped it down Monday and a quick dunk in the degreaser, sand and then a coat of 2pack epoxy primer,
Then wazzed in the oven at 60 degrees over night to cure, rubbed down then 2pack artic white applied with a metallic lacquer,
White looks really good, has a blue tint with a nice fleck in certain light, camera dosn't really pick it up.

So the pedals look naff in white, lasted one ride before it peeled off so revamp time,
Stripped down then etched (which was missing originally)
As the frame is white I thought a different colour would be a good contrast, black starlight with matt lacquer and maybe gold, hmm sounds nice....
Sod it do the bar ends, why not....
