That timne of year again. Thinking about indoor training this year. Have looked at hiring a spin bike from rowhire. Anyone used them? Or anyone else know of good place to hire indoor training bike - particularly interested in power training this winter.

Cheers

    How much are these?

Buy turbo and hire a powertap. At least the turbo will be there for years to come and the powertap can be used outdoors as well. Problem though is that once you start using power then you will not want to be without it

If you still have your heart set on indoor training with power, have a look at the hire options for a Wattbike (direct from their website) - it is the best and also most accurate option.
    I’m a sprinter – I warmed up yesterday.

I wouldn't actually be encouraging anyone to buy a powertap given all the problems I have had without first considering whether they could be bothered with all the hassle that owning can bring for some. I would say that Cycle Power Meters are an excellent company who really understand power and therefore you will get a very good backup service should buy fo them. They aren't always the cheapest but they aren't that far off and I would certainly pay the premium for their knowledge alone.

I recommended hiring a powertap simply because it's easy to get shot of it doesn't work
