    Oh thank christ it isn't just me that has the jeans problem.

    I tend to just comb the racks in TK Maxx (because they display everything by size, it makes this process quicker) trying pairs on until I find something that fits, or that I can get away with by wearing a belt.

    One of my regular wear pairs of jeans is a pair of Element skate jeans of the kind that are increasingly difficult to find these days.
