My diet.

I am planning on racing next year (see my sig), but there is one thing letting me down. My diet is absolutely shocking. Some days I go all day without eating, then days I eat loads.

I don't get tired or achey when I go all day without eating, I feel normal. I just eat when I am hungry, which of course can be very little somedays, but alot on others.

Also, I go through phrases of eating absolute junk, and then phrases of being a health guru.

So, can anyone advise me on how to get a constant diet, I'm just sick if I eat a full meal when I'm not hungry.

Sounds like 'little bits & often' would be a good tryer for you perhaps ??? - get a bit more regularity to your food consumption !

I think you already know what you have to do, failing that, have a word with your GP and see if you can get refered to a dietician, or try and find a sports nutrionalist.

Your race performances will probably be pants without decent nutrition.

From what you say it sounds like someone else is in charge of what you eat. Can't think of any other reason why you would be so shocked by your diet and yet be almost powerless to change it. Perhaps you just need to get a grip. My dog would probably describe his own diet as you do yours - assuming he could speak. Then again, the days he eats nothing are rare.
