How to get fitter, i have been back on my road bike since january, riding between 60 to 100 miles a week. i have been riding for 20 years although on a mtb for the past 5 years and not as frequent as i would have liked.
I did a loop local loop in Feb which is 46 miles with 3000 ft of cllimbing. first time it took me 3.05 hours i have now got it down to 2.47. I am 6 1" and 76 kg i considewr myself to be fairly fit
To day a did a different loop of just under 50 miles with 5000 ft of climbing and only managed it in 3.54.
How can i get faster?
