I am booked in to do the 100k Cheddar Cyclosportive on the 18th September.
Due to circumstances beyond my control I have done very little training for this event.
My longest solo ride this year was 2 weeks ago at a total distance of 41 miles.
The ride was fairly hilly and I averaged 16.8mph.
I mainly ride fixed wheel, my average ride will be 20-25 miles on fixed.
Do you think I will be ok for this ride. I am hoping to get out in the morning for 40-45 miles.
Just wondering if I have done enough training.... Your thoughts?

it's a fun ride - nobody will care how much training you've done - and you shouldn't either. Just enjoy it...0

Have you done enough? Only one way to find out...0

Keep eating and drinking and you'll get round. Maybe not in much style but you'll get round0

Oh, and don't go racing off at the beginning, take it easy and enjoy it. Nothing wore than blowing 50mi in, and still having another 15 to go.0

You'll be fine. I've done this a couple of times and it's pretty flat so you normally get big groups of riders. Just stay with a group that you're comfortable with and enjoy it.Winners never quit and quitters never win!!0
