Anyway, I think Switzerland's rain has just reached us, so.... stay indoors and watch the MotoGP it is then.

Aye, Manon Carpenter destroyed it (admittedly against a pretty weak field, but full marks to her). And Lew Buchanan in 4th for the boys I think despite a crash.

    Just read the thread.

Should have splurged the 15 euros - sounded frikkin awesome!

Top marks to Mr Hart - he did very well to tame that b*st*rd! 8)

Lol. By my reckoning the only DH race you've ever actually taken part in is the push-up mini-DH race at inners so I'll give you that. Pushing-up is hard work.

Hmm, do I know you? I raced at Fort William earlier in the year, not close to top-boy speeds to be fair but then I was on a bike with 100mm of rear travel so it was still pretty hard work getting a mid-table finish

Not that it really matters for my silly joke

Well done Danny boy. It's not often that my home town* produces anyone of note, let alone a sporting hero 8)

Only just got to see the race... OMG Danny Hart's run was epic. I thought Pagey was actually going to explode when he hit the second split 9.5 up!

For those who didn't pay the 15 yoyos (undoubtedly the best 15 quid I have spent on something cycling related for a while) here's a shop fo Danny whipping it up over the big drop just before the finish straight..... What a legend.
