Gaz, Just a warning. If you re hitting the Coffe Shops be very careful! Every single one of my friends so far have come over thinking they re hardcore smokers and can take any of this cannabis crap - All of them have ended up tucked up in bed fast asleep half an hour later (or worse). Take it slow and leave a good gap between visits. Amsterdam is a lovely city and it's a shame to only see the inside of your hotel room - however freaky it may look at the time!

Agreed, the stuff they smoke is intense!

The muffins on the otherhand, highly highly enjoyable...... and lasts so much longer. (you could even end up thinking you're a butterfly if you get on a coach - not that i did or anything...) :oops: :roll:

I can also vouch for the very nice Cake and Coffee in said shops, just dont wash the cake down with any funny loking pills that keep you awake for days! that would be just silly *whistles*

this very much. Mrs g is a hardcore smoker and can handle it but I'm just here because I like the place very much. I shall, as I have been doing, be drinking large amounts and being in general brilliant company for all around, not to mention a great piece of eye candy

Morning (well it is in BC) - work until 5.30, ride up the mountain and down again tonight, xc ride tomorrow, DH riding sunday, might slot in 9 holes on Saturday too, and buy some new shoes for riding - 5.10's dont seem to be my size in local store so might just be a stiffer soled pair of skate shoes. And some beers somewhere in there.

Been riding and got soaked at penmancho today and can see why people compare it to marmite, got to the campsite (i can see rhyl) to find the tent unpacked and on the floor with no sign of my mum, turns out she's a total webbo and forgot the tent poles and has had to drive back home for them so sat in the rain drinking a beer waiting for the poles to arrive.
