Commuted in this morning which was meant to be a n epic non road type affair, but keeping my race tyres on and some over night rain created more than 1 "moment" in the woods, slipping and sliding all over the place and loosing a rear brake pad  didnt help?
Put some new ones in last night, cant of been seated properly

Nothing on the diary but have plenty to do here.

Well here's to 18:30, a take away and maybe a few beers :P

Fryday means only one thing - bacons. Full fry up heading my way. Suh-weet.

    That is all.

    BLERGHHHHHH

My head hurts, and my advice is don't drink lots the night before you need to be out your room by ten. But a bottle of Johnny walker red did the damage. Got quite awkwardly chatted up last night, was quite awkward as I was about ten foot from Mrs G

off to the sam today but knees are fecked :(

  • Morning all!

I am so thankful it's Friday today. I cba with work this week.
I seem to be struggling to get to sleep at the moment. I sort of drift in and out of consiousness until around 1am, then finally sleep. It's tiring me out. I think I need a holiday, but have to wait a few more weeks until that :(

Bike times will be had this weekend hopefully. Not sure if I'm up to Lee Quarry again or not. Depends on how much time I have I suppose.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Done 2 days of sweet FA so really need to get some stuff done. Chores and baking are the order of the day. Seeing a friend later...

But first.. I can hear something... It's the bacon calling to me!

    Yo Maggots!

Friday it is. I am @ home. I have much to do today
Had an excellent drive home from Surrey last night but didn't really have an early night, so I am yawning my @ss off and it's not even 9.

It's overcast here today, so nice and cool, plus I prefer the Cannock trail after a little rain, so much faster and grippier... win

  • Today has been alright so far! Just had a phone interview and now have to answer some questions that will determine whether I can go to the assessment centre for a job with Mclaren!

Now though it's biking time, followed by more biking time and then pizza, tv and several beers this evening!

I think today is a good day!

    Morning all!

Epic awakeness fail this morning, climbing 3 days on the bounce and 2 nights of about 4 hours zzz has taken it's toll. Loooong lie in tomorrow me thinks! Today I am at work, with no work to do, instead I am working on redesigning the potter's website whilst drinking copious amounts of peppermint tea! Only 4 working days left after this til I am self employed eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

This evening got someone coming over to look at the spare room so I may have a new lodger soon :) and I have a mate coming over to watch trashy TV with me and eat biscuits!

As for the weekend, looking forward to party times with FoxC :D Even though we have no idea where we are going dirty rock club V camping, what will win the day? Silly indecisive covered in clay artistic types making for non plannage grr

Tom Howard Reminded me, I'm off to the Opticians tomorrow to be poked in the eyes  Going for a trial on contact lenses, I refuse to pay the £200 for the replacement lenses in my 5's Grrr

I cant tell you how much force their going to have t use the first time they put them in, and i mean holding my arms down, not putting them in :(

The first time's horrible. But after that it gets easy.

Just take the trial, get a copy of your prescription and buy them online, *much* cheaper. I've got an astygmatism and need Toric lenses, £25 a month from the opticians. £30 for 3 months online.
  • I have a feeling today is going to drag but the offer of free pizza for lunch makes it more bearable!

The weekend will most likely involve breaking in the new bike, a bit of climbing and maybe a trip out to catch some of the London-Surrey Cycle Classic.

Actually starting to acheive stuff at work now so I'm enjoying Geology again. Quiet weekend saving money this weekend (all the students are away so Leiden is dead at the moment anyway) as it's off to Germany for an enduro/marathon with the bike club next weekend.

Should probably try and get out both days but the weather is supposed to be crap in NL so may stick to the roadie or go for a run...

    Afternoon Freaks!

Well another week where the European Work Time Directive has been brough into various conversations... :(

That said, I have managed to commute on the bike a bit more this week. I also don't appear to be working at all this weekend, but there's still this afternoon where that could all change...

Not made any plans for the weekend, might just slob out at the house and do a bit of fettling. Depends on the weather really. I know Mrs C wants me to go and burn lots of stuffs at the allotment, but again, this depends on the weather and whether she's going to stump up for a full fry up breakfast at the cafe my daughter works at for breakfast. :D

    Much hugs and stuffs

Gaz, Just a warning. If you re hitting the Coffe Shops be very careful! Every single one of my friends so far have come over thinking they re hardcore smokers and can take any of this cannabis crap - All of them have ended up tucked up in bed fast asleep half an hour later (or worse). Take it slow and leave a good gap between visits. Amsterdam is a lovely city and it's a shame to only see the inside of your hotel room - however freaky it may look at the time!
