It's pretty good, average on this morning's ride was 6.5 degrees, a little bit wet and a lot windy, but warmer than last weekend.

I'll think about you next week whilst I'm working in Santiago in 30 degree sun. :D

I've been on the South Coast, about 12 degrees but windy. If this stage is going West then I have no chance. There again, I have no chance anyway.

A sudden change of temperature, especially as marked as 6 to 30 degrees can, possibly, do you incalculable harm. You wont be able to assess the extent of it for a long time. It is a bit like snapping a chain on a carbon fibre bike. Let me take that chance for you - the 30 degrees or the bike - I'm willing to put myself in harms way on your behalf

The usual fee in eccles cakes will apply, of course.

Thanks for the offer and all but it's a bit late. The taxi will arrive any minute now to take me to Heathrow. One Business Class flight later (and as much free wide as I can drink) and I'll be in Santiago. See ya next week, I'll post photos of the outdoor pool at the hotel. :D

P.S. Nice and warm here. The hotel lobby has got leaflets on "Bicycle tour or the city" and "Bicycle tour of the vineyards" - the 2nd one sounds fun - 12km, including mountain bike hire, access to the vineyards including tasting! Could be a wobbly ride back.
