Isn't that a picture of you at the back, just behind the fixie bloke having a cup of tea whilst reading the Guardian.

And he's just behind this lot.

  • Caught up with you all again at last and I didn't hold onto that car that just went through, honest. I only mentioned it just in case you thought I had cheated and I hadn't so I just wanted to make sure.

So I just park it over here, get the bike out, pour some water over me to look sweaty and I'm good to go!

Sneaky sprint there, asked for an Eccles cake to be prepared for the podium celebration.

No I don't want to now. There is cheating and there is sneaky, that was not sneaky. Driving cars is both traditional and historic, full of cultural significance.

Slowing to a "ribblecycles.co.uk first day of extra savings" website pace.

HTTP Error 503 (Service Unavailable): Your legs are currently unable to handle the request. This code indicates this is a temporary condition, and can only be resolved by eating Eccles cakes.

Fred Williams - my brother still has his Fred Williams bike that he bought in 1977. I tried riding it the other week, boy it was hard work compared to today's bikes.

I used to have a BSA Tour de France which was handed down to me through the family, I Lionised this bike only to find our recently that it was was only regarded as "mediocre" at the time...Still I loved it and was genuinely upset when my mum threw in a skip, just cause I bought a new bike, I mean seriously! :/

  • You have oddly feminine legs Lemoncurd - and a lack of, how can I say this, plums - more eccles cakes needed methinks.

If you look closely, I think you will find that the legs are fine. Lemoncurd on the other hand, is odd.

This stage is taking ages, think a couple of people have dropped off the back as well.

I had my plums removed so that I'd have more room in the front of my Y-fronts to keep my Eccles cakes warm, crumbs can be a bit itchy mind.
