That was an outrageous Landis-style solo-break from nowhere to take stage 25. I'm suspicious.

Where's Dick Pound (that name always makes me laugh) when you need him?

  • As you can see from my join date and number of posts I tend to lurk in the peleton most of the time but as it was all slowing down I decided to put in some pace as it was my only chance of glory. I have no chance in the GC.
  • But was that a motor noise i can hear coming from your bike sir :D

  • Months of training and then waiting for the right time to make the break and I am accused of cheating. I missed my oppurtunity at 10,15 and 20. so I waited for my one chance of glory.

Yup it is - so maybe you could answer your own question as you've posted 3 times out of 4 messages!!

If I could answer my own pointless questions do you think I would waste my valuable time posting them here?
This is a multi-choice question to which the answer is either:-
    a) Yes
    or
    b) No

Answer A - seeing as you're now up to 4 posts in this pointless thread!!:lol:

I suggest a Schmidt SON Dynamo with an eDelux light. It'll give you enough illoomination to shoot Messerchmidts out of the sky and you'll never be in the dark again. An essential bit of kit when you are riding late & trying to make page 26 in a stage race.

How dare you - my brain does not have an off switch! :x
  • Yay - first on page 26...

... a bit like being first to the end of the neutral zone, doesn't mean anything.

We all know the important thing to be first to is the feed zone. Talking of food, i'm hungy...

Thats ok - mine doesnt have an on switch. Something internal activates when i walk through the door at work and deactivates when I leave. :?

Im so slow that if I had a dynamo I would either stop due to the increased resistance or folk would be shouting at me to change the batteries as my lights would be very dim

Here, maybe we could start a line in 'I'm so slow...' jokes.

I'm so slow, people have to line me up with the trees to see which way I'm riding.
