Evans out the back :x

EBH interview was a bit disappointing thought he would dish the dirt on his fellow pros and launch into a foul mouthed rant as usual

I'd have a go on her.

So pleased for 34 year old Cadel. Even more pleased than if King Contador won it.

He deserves it so much for his contribution to this magnificent sport.

Evans press conference yesterday. What a guy.

  • I can't understand a bl*ody word of Stephen Roche's commentary though - he's so quiet. He's making the great Sean Kelly sound crystal clear and lucid in the extreme.

It is good to see cuddles in a yellow jersey but otherwise normal BMC kit rather than head to toe in yellow as seems normal nowadays.

I'll forgive him the yellow helmet

9pts in the bag for Cav, on that showing, he's going to be lengths ahead at the line!
    Another Cav'Goss 1/2 on the cards? :D

Kelly's just put a good point in.
With an HTC rider in the break, HTC don't need to chase, so the other sprinters' teams will have to do the work.

Don't think I'd want to be in the middle of the pack if I was Cav. One touched wheel somewhere in front of him.....

    Nice finish.

Looked like Bak would hold out for a little while, but well organised by the rest of the team.

Congrats to Cav. 20 victories now.

excellent! great to see BMC all together at the end... Really pleased for Cadel. joins the sastre club of clean winners in the last 20 years according to me.

Cunego and Voeckler have done a ride too. maybe my favourite tour of my lifetime

    Cancellara 5th!

I was wishing Oss would have gone for a flyer but I guess no one was going to hold out.

    Congratulations Cavendish - superb results.

Only 10mins down to 10th on GC.

Cav saying there was a block headwind - was wondering why he sprinted so short.
