London-Southampton September

Hi All,
I have recently signed up for the London - Southampton bike ride for the British Heart Foundation and not started but increased my training. I have completed a couple of 50 milers in around 3 hours. Happy with that!
Although I would like to obviously enjoy the event I also would like a good time. I'm thinking under 5 hours but more likely 4hrs 45 minutes! Can anyone give me some good tips on how to maintain speed through training. I pretty much do 3 sessions a week on spinning bike and try and get out from anything from 50 -100 miles a week at the moment. I will be building that up to the event date.
Any help would be great as I want to focus what training I do to maximise the benefits!
Thanks
