Think he's putting in an appearance at the TdF tomorrow. Sounds like a great day in Scotland so fair play to him for doing it. Which other riders would we go out for a ride with if they twittered. For me, Jens or Cancellara would do it. Maybe Cadel or the Sky or HTC Team

I'm at 2:06 in the LiveStrong lid and shirt outside the Eagle and, 4:57 to (with a wierd smile) at 5:02.

Great video though - really does a great job of capturing the essence of the day. well done!

Here he is, second from right. Don't think I should ever take up a career in photography.

Not to be confused with second from left, cos thats me...
It would not be an easy mistake to make!

The photo I was trying to take ended up with someone between me & LA, but did get a decent video when I shook the mans hand at Skibo.

Saw 2 crashes happen, and the aftermath of 2 others. It was like first week of TdF!

Good on him for his twitter ride. I was at his Paisley ride and shook his hand. He made a lot of people very happy, me included! Why does he do it??? I think he does it because he can, because he likes to be a regular guy cycling with the masses and because it keeps Livestrong in the public eye! 8)

I too was in Paisley. It was a great day. NOt so much just because of Lance but the buzz of being in a peleton of 300+

Why does he do it? Well that day all he wanted to do was make sure he could go for a bike ride and he had no idea where could go... and more important how to get back to his hotel. I think he was as gob smacked as we were with the turn out. Dublin, Adelaide etc were 10 time bigger but more organised.

I'm not a fan boy, but if my car hadn't been at the mechanics I'd have driven up for Sunday's ride just for the craic.

It'd be great if we could have more spur of the moment mas rides like this. For no other reason to enjoy such a big group of riders as you've mentioned. There really is safety in numbers, when you get that many riders out the traffic just has to take second place and wait it's turn.
