Return to cycling after 2 year gap - advice/recommendations

Hi All,
After a 2.5 year break from time trials due to new family commitments I am looking to get back into 10 or 25 mile tt's. Time is still a constraint so I will be mainly training on my turbo during the week with probably only one road rode per week on a Sunday.
I was just wondering if anyone had returned from such a lay off or is training mainly on a turbo and could give any advice as to building a base on shorter hours and how well you came back in the first season.
During the lay off I've mainly trained on small amounts of running with some gym/strength/kettlebell work but my main engine will still need some major tuning.
Previous best times were 10m - 21:52, 25 - 54:36 and 50 - 1:54:44.
Any advice or comments would be most appreciated.
Cheers!
