Turboing

I've decided when I start training properly I might use my turbo for training on bad days or days when I just want to get a quality bit of training in.

I notice from when I first got my turbo my HR could stay at a steady 182-185 and I could hold it for ages, now I can't do this on the road. I also figure using the turbo may help me to get my cadence higher.

So say if I did 2x 20min on the turbo would this be beneficial? Bare in mind I am going to be doing 10/25 mile events.
