I partially ruptured the achilles in my left leg on 15th March, while on a snowboarding holiday (playing tag while warming up!)
It's been fun and games... oh yes.

If felt like someone had slammed the edge of a snowboard into my leg!! I don't remember it hurting though...
The worst part is that I reckon it tore away from my calf muscle, so I've had to wait for the tendon and the muscle to heal.
No idea, I'm noticing tiny improvements every day, current goals are to stop walking like a spakker when the boot is off, and to be able to drive.

    Mornen yer Janners

Work again today, I'm standby turn, but I don't hold out much hope of sitting around today doing nowt, not on a middle of the day job. Good news this morning is that Mrs G has passed her NQT year teaching so is now 110% a fully qualified teacher, just a shame that after the year she's had, she's not all that keen on teaching. Ah well, she's doing supply next year for a bit, just to give us a bit more flexibility, what with me working shifts.

In other news, got my tickets for Harry Potter on sunday and two of our lezza mates are coming, I've suggested that they dress as Hermione and Ginny and lez off and give the Hogwarts geeks an engorgio spell in their wand. They seemed quite keen, I shall have the camera on standby in case.

So when I return from my next off shore trip I'm going out with them again. Biketree in Sheffield for those who may be interested.

:) Gaz, you are going to get rolling-pinned by the Crudcatcher burds for that. We all know the truth hurts....

Today has me in tired mode after too much free food and plonk & last night so didn't sleep too well. Add to this the boss is panicking about stuff knowing I leave in 2 weeks and trying to get me to do loads of stuff before I go :( Roll on 5.30.

Nope, I'm there for nearly 4 weeks with Mrs G so no hookers, and because I get drugs tested at work, no green. I go to Amsterdam quite a lot though, I just love the feel of the place, Its one of my retirement plans, when I'm too old and decrepid to ride bikes on mountains, I shall be going over there to live on a houseboat and be the eccentric old english stoner wearing a union jack suit and telling his storys of places such as Bolton and such.

I'm hoping any rolling pin chastising shall be purely external, leaving some sweet bruises

Sorry, I'm a pacifist. No rolling pin chastisement here. Just a stern look, with a raised eyebrow.

Actually don't own a rolling pin... I do not fit to common gender specific stereotypes.
