After completing the Marmotte this weekend and suffering with serious knee pain, I feel I need to get a professional bike fit and someone to look at my cleat postioning.
Now I have had a look and come across, Velomotion in Milton Keynes, cyclefit in London, bike scienece in Bristol and Cadence sport.
Can anyone give me some first hand recommendations of these or any others
Thanks in advance

Made my position much better, even though it felt odd/wrong at firstCarlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos0 -
I went to Cadence Sports and was very, very pleased. Adrian is a cracking bloke with loads of know-how. I was there around 3 hours and came away with my position tweaked, custom insoles and cleat set-up with my 6mm leg length sorted. I now have no pain in my legs, hips and feet. I can thoroughly recommend Cadence Sports. Plus, it's not every day you get to spend time with an ex-pro rider. He now has new business premises which look amazing.

I've gone onto their website and left disappointed and surprised that there doesn't seem to be
any empty appointments for the rest of the year. I gave up after seeing it full up at least until

De Sisti - there do seem to be appointments availiable in 2 weeks, admittadly not many but they are there.0

Someone on bikeradar asking for advice on bike fit. Someone point her in the direction of @AdrianTimmis please
(OT: NapD's been for his first post-crash ride and loved it.)0 -

Another +1 for Adrian at Cadence Sports.
I'd also recommend taking a towel as you will definitely work up a sweat on the bike0 -

I booked myself in last month and it has made a massive difference to my riding comfort. Adrian is a top guy too, we spent 3 hours chatting about racing while he sorted my insoles and changed my position on the bike bit by bit until he was happy that it is right.
Over time I'd made more and more incorrect adjustments to try and correct previous mistakes in my position. I walked in knowing my position was wrong but Adrian was very good and just making the correct adjustments until he got things to where they should be. Not once did I feel daft for the mistakes I had my in my previous set up.
Since the fit I am sure I am going faster for the same effort but have no data to back that up. The main advantages for me though are the stability when descending and cornering now that I am balanced correctly front to rear on the bike and also the lack of pain across my shoulders on longer rides as I am no longer over stretching.0
