  • Your up against people who dont "think" they are correct the "know" it.
    Also a great number of them are retired with nothing else better to do than
    complain that someone else is getting enjoyment from the lakes.

    Unfortunately this means that bikers will never be able to ride any of these routes
    "legally" ever. So your left with doing it ilegally as your only option if your
    really determined to not let another group dictate where and when you can ride.

    Ride responsibly, be polite (in a stong local dialect if possible ;) ), a vast majority
    of walkers are nice and reasonable as long as your courteous and safe around them
    it's only the hard core millitants will ever say anything.

    I rarely ride illegal stuff but have done.. only comments i ever got from walker was
    respect that we were up there on bikes.

    So i'd avoid it where possible but it really annoys me that a small minority of people
    are dictating what everyone else should do with a false sense that they own the
    lakes - usually they dont even live there :roll:
