Good Time?

Ok I have completed my first organised road ride on my new bike. I have been road cycling for a few years now and I mostly ride solo so I am not quite sure if I am considered good enough for regular club rides etc.

I did the 58 mile Notts bike ride in 3h 14m ?

Could someone advise me if this would be a good pace to go on regular club rides without slowing anyone down?

Thanks

Dan.

    Give it a go.

Have a look at the clubs in your area, some maybe race specific and others may have steady clubruns to break you in gently.

Whereabouts are you? Maybe someone on here who lives in your area can be more specific.

With that sort of average speed, you are fine to ride with most club's "club run". Make sure that you (or indeed any clubs you are thinking of joining) do not confuse "club run" with "training ride" which can be a completely different thing.

Any club worth joining will not leave new riders in the middle of nowhere on a club run, no matter how slow they are.
