i paid £3.99 on sky box office to watch 'the dilemma' with vince vaughn and winona ryder the other night, billed as a comedy and it was a steaming pile of poo, i want my money back
but then i watched expendables yesterday and thought it was ok as a no brainer action film.
anyone watched anything good lately? or watched something that was turd

I watched Paranormal Activity 2 the other day.
I want 2 hours of my life back please! It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

cloudy with a chance of meatballs - I'll take up that recommendation
Latest film I watched worth reporting back on? Black Swan. Just see it for the girl-lust scenes.
And Sucker Punch - If movies are rated on Legs, (and really, what else do you rate a movie on?) SP gets a solid 10 potatoes.0 -
The cg anims are class, hav to say though I couldnt be bothered with gnomeo and juliet. Despicable me is boss.
2 oldish films I caught on film 4 that I thought would be crap but were excellent were Th eLimey and Lucky Number Slevin. The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.0 -
lucky number slevin is a great film0
-
Sucker punch was garbage.
If you've never seen In Bruges. You must. Its fantastic. Even the trailers great http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoE9edjEDCI
If you like comics. Watch Watchmen. Again brilliant but even better read the 'graphic novel'.
Brit flick, The disapearance of Alice Creed. Is Ace.
New Pirates of the Carribean film. Stinking pile of muck.
Snot green Canyon Nerve AM 8.0x0 -
Valhalla Rising. Not AT ALL what you might expect from its sales pitch, but a hugely interesting piece of work nonetheless.
Scott Pilgrim vs the World. Possibly the bestest action film ever made, or quite possibly the worstest action film ever made if you don't 'get' it.

Wall Street - the original with Mr Douglas - Quality Film but a bit slow at times
Changing Places - Eddie Murphy at his best
The People vs Larry Flint - Funny and plenty of boobs
Hangover 2 - funny but as already said, predictable
The Girl with the dragon tattoo - great film
Man on Fire - sweet film "i'm a professional, i'm a professional, i'm a professional, thats all i keep hearing"
Brooklyns Finest - bad cop, good cop, unlucky cop film by the same director as Man on Fire0 -

Great great film.
My mate lent me a film a few weks ago called Kung Pow, it's a few years old now but it's up thee with the funniest films i've ever seen just for sheer stupidity. They edited two old hongkong kung fu films together and put a new character in with blue screen then preceeded to overdub it as badly as they could.

Watched The Tourist last night.
Predictable but funny. Humm... Angelina Jolie... hot...
A nice light suspense / romantic comedy / spy movie.0 -
How to train your dragon in 3D and Kick Ass both birliant films, and really enjoyed Salt with Angelina.
However, I just couldn't stop giggling when I took the kids to see Diary of a wimpy kid, rodrick rules.. it's a must see just for the talent show!
For the sheer fun value, Kun Fu Hussle is a must!0 -
Sinbad and the minotaur-Quite possibly the worst film I have EVER seen. It was so awful I turned it off after about 30 mins.0
-
There have been a few contenders for worst film I've ever seen tbh.
"A.I" was particularly gash. A film that could easily have been 90min was dragged out to almost 4 mind numbing, eyeball scratching, soul crushing hours.
The most recent incarnation of Robin Hood was also particularly terrible.0 -
I've got Boondock Saints downloaded, anyone seen it? I've not watched it yet.
I've also got Toy story 3 downloaded, excellent.
Watched a movie from Australia the other day called The Square, felt like time was going a bit too slowly, predictable, yawn fest.
Recorded How to train your dragon on V+ not long back but the tv listing was wrong and it turned out to be Iron Man 2 instead, not seen the first one but I thought it was an ok movie.0 -

I loved Boondock Saints. Underrated if you ask me (though there are some terribad accents in it).
Watched Tangled, funny as fook.
Also watched Ran, solid and enjoyable (if you like that sort of thing).
Have just been lent Machete but haven't watched it yet. I'm expecting terrible B movie nonsense so doubt I'll be disappointed.0 -
has anyone seen Adam Sandlers film 8 Crazy Nights?
its freaking wierd and a bit distrubing, so you guys will love it, my favourite quote is[talking is his sleep after being knocked out, hand is in his pants] My finger's in your mouth kitty, but I don't feel no teeth.0 -

Watched Senna last night, not great. Our local Chinese DVD seller seems to have been absent recently so had little choice, fun viewing after crying for an hour watching Terry Pratchet.
Consensus amongst most of the men I know is that we all spent the 3rd or 4th viewing of tangled looking for animators nipple!Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
Who are you calling inbred?0 -
Thanks for the info on Boondock Saints.
