A new challenge

Last year I had a Forest Gump moment, I couldn't sleep and at 4am and I was up and out riding. I rode 158 miles to just past Birmingham, whilst my 11 hours was not impressive I was happy and decided that I would do something new every year.

This year I'm going to ride Lancaster to London - 285 miles. I am doing this again non stop, and i think it will take me about 22 hours with fatigue.

I was wondering if there is anything I could do to better prepare myself this time around? I have nutrition sorted, its the more mundane and unexpected things I'm not even going to realise are a problem until they are!
