Any bikers from the Wirral?

Am fairly new to biking and now that Uni is virtually finished, I thought I'd do some riding.

I found this route, but is probably too long seeing that am a beginner. Any know of some routes or even trails around Bebington?

Just got a Trek 3500, so I'm limited to light trails... you find anybody else to ride with?
