can anyone help me with this,I'm starting to slow down.........
I have a good winter behind me but I had a break for two months due to work and a car crash(feb-march) ,but training has been on schedule x3 30mile rides @ 18mph ave on hilly Loops a week ,Inc some long ones with my club and velodrome sessions .
Thing is ,on the track I could not keep up ! my heart rate would not go up I could not get a sweat on ,my legs just would not go at all .....my ave training speeds are going down as well, into the 16's but I feel good, could it be nutrition as I'm dieting at the moment but only cutting out the rubbish really ?????? Help pls :?:

Could be the diet or you might just need a rest. When did you last have an easier week?
What you're describing is how I feel when I've had several hard weeks on the trot and therefore need an easy week to recover a bit.More problems but still living....0 -
Sounds about right, I want to race on Friday so I will have a couple of days off ,and a bit more sleep0

Could be a sign of over-training, are you trying to make up for the lost time off the bike?
Space out the week with rest days and focus on a recovery shake for a couple of weeks and see how that fares.0 -
had all week off the bike ...race night tonight lets seee how much talent im lacking0
