Cycle training camps near Lyon in France

I'm going to be based around Lyon with my bike between La Marmotte and the second Etape

I'd like to get some cycling in during that time with other groups.

Can anyone reconmmend a cycle camp or a way to hook up with other groups?

Also, if anyone knows how to get from Clermont Ferrand to Issiore on the morning of the Etape, I still need to sort out that last part.
