    Nice for Nibali's lot to step in and do the work for AC.
    They're gonna get thumped if they don't get away soon.
    This is like a mini version of the Ardenne Classics where they brought Gilbert to the foot of the last climb to get wacked 4 times in a row. They say if you make the same mistake twice then you're an idiot. Looks like 3 times with the same mistake.

    Sastre getting a bit leathery now. Shame. If he doesn't do a good Vuelta then he's off to the knackers yard. :cry:

    mended kilometre count is just 11km. A whole 20km has been taken out of today's stage owning to "a protest".

    Gadret misunderstands one of the stewards and takes a left hand turn instead of continuing straight on. The AG2R rider has to turn round and then rejoin the peloton.
