When you phone the dentist to book your appointment .... ask him0

Depends if its an infection or not.0

just take it easy whilst on the antibiotics. if you get a dodge stomach or feel low then obviously just stop cycling and see how you go after on the abx.
if you have in infection you need the tooth either rct'd / extracted.
normal training shouldnt really effect you too much. would avoid any v hard training / mammoth training rides as these can lower your immune system a touch. might cause it to flare up but doubtful if you are on the abx.0 -
hello dafty,
if your toothache is due to pulpitis (inflammation of the pulpal tissue inside the tooth) then exercise will make it worse as the increase in blood pressure will increase the pressure inside the pulp chamber and pulpitis pain is caused by the increased pressure in the aformentioned pulp chamber
if it is due to infection then it's not a good idea to excercise for the same reason as when you have other viral/bacterial infections.
p.s you need to see your dentist as the antibiotics will only treat the symptoms and if it is a tooth related infection then it will remain (all be it at a low grade ) and you won't be aware of it .To treat an infection properly you need to remove the cause not just treat the symptoms.
see you dentist and he/she may introduce to you to the delight of root canal treatment .

hey thanks for all your advice, fortunately i am booked in to have the cause extracted, ouch, ,until then i will only be doing gentle exercise, swimming tonight with the missus, then gentle spins on the turbo untill it's sorted, cheer'sdafty d0
