A question to the Powertap owners

I've got a Powertap 2.4+ in my Zipp 900 disk, its starting to go a little mad and wondering what the problem could be before sending it back.

Ive replaced the batterys on it, I go to calibrate it which happens ok on my Garmin 705 and comes up with -6718 on the calibration screen, then go to the normal screen but then nothing comes up wattage wise, go to calibrate again it either fails or nothing is coming up on the screen at all, any ideas what it could be because i'm at a loss to explain it. Please Help!

Replacing the batteries can cause the powertap hub to issue a new hub id and therefore the device will not pair with the computer until you re-learn the hub id on the computer. I don't own a Garmin device so I can't be more specific but something you should try if you haven't already.

First thing I'd do would be take the Garmin out of the equation and try the PT hub with the original PT head unit before sending it back, though I'm sure you will have tried that already. Garmin software is often the culprit, in my experience.
