Had the Rebas fitted, here is a few pics, I removed the decals as I hated the red but have some new ones on order now.

Rebas are now sorted and am very happy with them, I have been thinking of adding a touch of colour to the bike, QR, seatpost clamp grips and pedals,

My thoughts are one of the following, or should i leave the colour alone?

    RED

    GOLD

    OR

    BLUE

Cracking bike, love the black and white. I’d have said red for your bit of colour but you obviously aren't keen so maybe blue?

Quick question, did you get a shock pump with your Reba’s? I’m going to order a pair when I get paid, all be it the 2010 teams in black from Merlin.

HI, i dont mind a little red, i just didn't like the red reba decals, I have now put some rock shock decals on like this

    logo_rockshox.gif

The Rebas did not come with a pump i had to buy that separate, £25 from my LBS, I go my rebas from on-one for £250 they are now 279 but currently out of stock.

I dont want to much colour on the bike just some subtle changes, next upgrades will be, new bars, wheel set, saddle and chainset.

I have just changed the rotors and pads for some superstar one, nothing to fancy but seem to work better.

Thanks mate, more expense, hey ho! Def get a red seat clamp then, my non qr superstar one seems pretty good and only six quid!

You've had the bike since May and upgraded all that and plan on doing a lot more.

How much you spent so far? ;)

Agree with this. Subtle stuff so you can pick your bike out of a crowd. I just went with coloured lock-ons, seat clamp... and anything I zip tie on (chaintay protector so far)

    Red would look nice.

I reckon the frame warrants the upgrades you've done. It looks sweet.

I am looking at buying some new bars today, the question is would i get away with a colour other than black? I am looking at raceface atlas bars in either red gold or black,

I'm a big fan of pimp bars. They look awesome as long as you get a matching colour. Gold or red would look good on yours. If you do go the gold route then Renthal Fatbars are pretty nice too.

It's looking really good, mate but you might want to cut down the poplock cable as it's looking a lot too long.

    Well big news....

I have always had a problem with the rear brake, the bike has been back to the shop and they have just called me to let me know there is an issue with the frame and not the brake, they have offered me a refund, a like for like exchange or an exchange for a new bike.

I am going to the shop this afternoon to see what they have.

Toaste, you won't regret it. Did you get to try one anywhere? The C456 is a superb frame. You'll actually be able to sit through sections of trail that get you out of the seat on an alu frame, the carbon really smooths out trail buzz and small bumps.

The only thing I'd say is that small changes to the cockpit seem to make big differences with it, so it may take a bit of trial and error with stem/bars to get it right.. But once you do it rides like a beast (in a good way). For an average build, I'm liking 50-70mm stem and 700-720 wide riser bars.

DC1 i didnt try one, but on one said if the 16 is to small they will swap it out for the 18, very nice of them.

Also please dont think i am copying your bike but i am also going for black/gold.
