Anyone here had a knee replacement?

I had both my knees replaced (full knee replacement); one in December and the other mid March and I was wondering whether anyone else here has had a knee replacement. I started cycling again last Friday and managed an easy 20 miler today but was just after some advise from someone who has experienced the same/similar op?
How long did it take you to get back to a decent level, say going on a club run with a 16mph average?
How long did the bend in your knee keep on improving for? The biggest problem I noticed was that my pedal stroke went all to pot when my feet were at the 12 o'clock position in the pedal stroke.
Do you use clipless pedals and if so when did you start using them again. I tried clipless on my turbo but realised I couldn't twist my foot so opted for toeclips without the strap just to prevent my foot sliding forward.
I am having phsio every 3 weeks and am following his instructions closely but he is not a cyclist so couldn't help me when it came to certain advise like the clipless pedals so any help (reassurances) would be much appreciated.
