Just because I'm bored....

are you worried about how much you or a loved one/son watches pron. Why?

Is there or should there be a recommended limit to how much any person should watch?

On average how much pron do you watch a week/month?

Do you think it changes the way a man views sex?

If you are worrying about it - stop! Simples.

If you don't worry about it - carry on.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

I actually just outgrew it pr0n on the Internet. I also think I saw everything I wanted to see on the free sites and they didn't update quickly enough. Also with the advent of HD a lot of the older stuff just looks blurry....

Bangbus moved to HD and updates every Wednesday but I don't like the new website format.... lol.

Getting it on your iPhone is the next big thing.

    "Lemme use your phone mate"

"Sur..... hang on a second, let me just close these webpages...."

One of my customers told me a mate of his, this already sounds like bull, is a GP and went on a seminar about fertility. Supposedly there were a few instances of young couples failing to conceive and when questioned about technique it turned out they were at it like they had seen in porn films and spilling it all over everywhere as per "the money shot" so there was no insemination taking place. They had to be told how to do it properly.
Personally I think anyone that stupid should be left unable to breed.

"Sure, here you go. What picture??? **sh1t, rumbled** err no idea , Dave borrowed it a while back, I just put it straight back in my pocket........"

FTFY , its never a mate that would understand that wants to borrow your phone at that moment

Look it's all syncretic, but in short, the images and behaviour of women, on which the vast majority of porn is focussed upon, becomes appropraited into the gender discourse.

Because sex is a key fundamental of male-female relationships, even in terms of just attractiveness etc, the very very specific image of porn can warp the relationship.

What is sexually arrousing becomes more narrowly defined, and how people expect women to behave becomes more narrowly defined, especially when they're trying to be attractive < the most obvious example are younger women (i.e. the generation with endless porn) go out dressed, to be blunt, very sluttily, but then don't remotely behave in that way. Men get given mixed signals, women hate the kind of attention they get etc.

It also explains the rise in the whole pubic grooming phenomenon.

Naturally it also affects how people have sex, what is expected of people, and how people are aroused during sex > there's an increasing discrepency between what the male (who watches loads of porn) wants and expects and is aroused by and what the woman ( who likely doesn't) the same.

It goes plenty deeper - it reinforces the dominant gender identity binary - blah blah but people have less interest in that, and I barely understood it untill I spent hours in the library (and I've now forgotten).

    Mostly agree.

    Yeah OK I buy that.

But sex without porn is boring. It's like doing it with your clothes on (when indoors and in the bed... pencil skirt not withstanding).

Didn't Brianna Banks challenge the whole gender domination concept throughout her career?

Aren't men naturally sexually dominant anyway or am I misunderstanding this.

It's not sexually dominant, but generally dominant.

I pity Mrs DDD if you need porn, pencil skirts and who-knows what other props to get busy.
I'm only speaking for myself here, but I think its fair to say that if sex without porn is boring you are a porn addict and/or you just ain't doing it right.

My post was mainly tongue in cheek but it touches on a point I've taken up with the odd friend when they've moaned about a lack of creativity in the bedroom.

I don't need porn, but I think most would be lying if they said it didn't add or contribute, in some way, to spicing things up a little. Fact is sex isn't taboo and exploring it, in whatever way you are comfortable with, to learn and add to your experience, skills, sense of sexual discovery/creativity is no bad thing.

It's the whole if you're not exposed to (insert stimulae) it then how do you learn. Someone would have had to have seen doggy to (i) call it that and (ii) try it out.

That said you are right, if the only way you can be intimate is ala a porn-esque setting then there may be a problem.

But where do you draw the line between addicted problem and something you like. When doing so isn't harmful or detrimental to you, your partner or the relationship?

    I could go on.

When I groom our cat, I leave the hair on it. I just get the knots out.
