Just time issues. They are due to go live about 1-15pm BST, although knowing the dutch, it'll be chat first.

Spot on the money. Nothing of the race yet, just interviews and chatting so far.

Just a lot of chat about his possibilities of winning consecutive races, especially coming off his mid-week win on Wednesday.

Although there's been 29 different winners in the last 30 years, Gilbert is a strong favourite to win his 2nd.

What's up with Rabo second kit?
Did they feel left out with all the white already in the peloton?

I was wondering that myself this morning when they got off the bus. The same kit was also being sold, including the large red flower on the front.

I prefer the orange kit to this one, but not sure why they chose the option kit for today.

Aren't you allowed to wear one special kit a year in the Pro Tour? Guess this is because it's their home race,

lead group down under 1 minute away now.

Whatever reason Rabo chose the second kit, it seems to have been a good one because they've been working hard on the front of the peleton to pull the break back.

Here's the reason for the Rabo kit:

Ride For The Roses on 4 September. Helping to advertise it and raise awareness of the ride, which is raising funds for the fight against cancer.

    EDIT: Beaten to it.

I forgot what the roads were like in the Dutch races. Is anyone in hospital yet?

Omega Pharma taking up the chase now on front of the peleton.

I guess Rabo decided they'd done enough work now that they have Barredo in the break.

Were there any pre-race odds on any of the Schlecks falling off, or having a majorly bad mechanical (i.e. dropping a chain, or missing a gear change)?:lol::lol:

There go the Dutch roads getting in the way....

That would hurt hitting a road divider like that.

No wonder it's rated a dangerous race.
