Cunego's not picked for the Giro. Maybe he can spend the time in a local tattoo parlour... or laser clinic?

Given his chat about the juice, and his rubbish performance now to when he was swinging with Simoni, I'd be surprised if he'd been donig any worthwhile juice the past 3 years.

Not surprising that Ballan got pulled out

    http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/gazzett ... estigation

    10 transfusions among other things....

Liquigas and QuickStep both pull a rider out while Movistar are under pressure to withdraw Bruseghin.

Actually talking about EPO use? I thought riders all knew to use codes, like "wasps", "special cranks" and other terms just in case they're being listened to.

I don't know why they should or would. He's not under investigation, he's only been visited by the cops in regard to the Ferrari thing. Everyone who's been dropped is under formal investigation in the Lampre case.

Bruseghin has his head held high despite apparently caught discussing the right time to micro-dose Epo during the 2009 Giro

    http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/brusegh ... ro-ditalia

He doesnt think it makes sense that Contador is able to ride and he isnt but then he is happy that Contador is able to ride.

Wasn't Bruseghin one of the riders a few years ago who was strongly rumoured to have tested positive in some race or 'tother?

Also, wasn't Ballan rumoured for sky at one point? I guess he's one of the folks that didn't get past the screening...

It's a good point. He hasn't even tested positive for anything and he's suspended, yet Contador, who has and is only racing pending a CAS trial can race?

    One rule for one...

Not quite suspended, just not in the race. He still gets full pay.

Contador has been cleared, it's just there's an appeal to this verdict.

Zomegnan has said that those embroiled in the Mantua investigation are excluded because that investigation has closed and charges have been recommended, whereas Scarponi and others involved in the Ferrari investigation and Contador are okay to ride because those investigations are still active.

    Glad we got that sorted.

Interesting if true. Guess Ballan wont be starting the swiss tour today.

    https://twitter.com/#!/dnlbenson/status ... 4981978112

Could Cunego be pulled out of the swiss tour? As i remember he wasnt one of the ones featured in the newspaper stories but he was on the team and was named on a longer list, ie one of the 32 or something like that.

EDIT: They will be meeting with Torri rather than a judge it seems. Timetable here, starts next week, no Cunego.
