Started getting my own thoughts down on the beginnings of a crap 4th Cat racer dipping his toes in the water at the age of 34.

Another vote for Josh Cunningham, who used to ride for my team a few years ago (long before I joined) but is now trying to forge a career in Belgium:

And I suppose I should also draw your attention to mine:

If you have a good blog why not put ask the guys at ON THE RIVET if you can publish it on their website.

Mind you saying that if your racing it might be too consuming having to write a blog as well as race ........ you might be better off sleeping rather than adding stimulating info to your blog ?
Just a thought.0 -

Really captures the essence of the struggles of a wannabe racer - highly recommended0 -

Well, I suspect whoever posted that is envious of their success. Lots of people want to live the dream of being a pro cyclist, but not many can afford a Super-Record equipped bike.0 -
stop it your killing me  no please honestly your cracking me up
But no really seriously well done to the people of this blog for raising funds to fight Cancer :!:
They are still not professional cyclist though.............. they might be professional comedians raising the profile of a worthy charity though :!:0 -
Snob. What planet are you on? Campy is so yesterday now. Andy Sleck uses sram and if his chain hadn't got caught round his back wheel when he changed cogs he might even have won the tour du France.my mate said.0

Andrew,
how old was chris when he started racing? when did he decide to move to France, and more importantly how did he get into a top team?
thanks...0 -
Chris started racing at 14 and continued at Uni he moved to France after graduation. He found and cycled with a local team building experience (as well as learning French).
To get into a bigger team it is normal to send your Palmarès to teams if they like the look of you a place can be offered.
After a serous crash a couple of years ago (he now has a pin and screws in his leg) he is racing well again.

Triathlete to crit racer - well, stranger things have happened. No, wait; actually they haven't. May your fellow competitors recover quickly.0 -
