Very, very pretty Clarkey.
My cycling is pretty much exclusively commuting based and so it would have to be something suitable for that. On-One did the concept titanium 'tourer' below a while ago that gets pretty close to my ideal. Make sure it's an 11-speed Alfine, add a carbon fork and a belt drive (so I don't get oil on the 15 hundred quid sofa again) and I'll be sorted.

What are you doing with my (almost) dream bike Jonny Trousers? Step back from the On One.

Totally agree. Did he ever do the belt drive/Alfine combo thing? I seem to recal he did, but I can't be sure.
Personally I'd be as happy with decent steel as I would ti; it's all the other bits I'd like. Maybe Civia will do an 11-speed Bryant soon. Although there's something a little nerdy looking about that bike. I'm sure there will be some production, drop-bar, 11-speed Alfines out this year. On-One told me it was an option they were looking into.
Now if only Kona would do the Honky Inc with an Alfine hub (and not have such a ridculous frame size jump as they do from 53cm to 56cm)...0 -

CC that's rather pretty, if a little tall for me. If you could just shorten the head and seat tubes, drop the stem and swap it for something with a touch more reach and it'd be perfect.
Oh, and the fork blades should be chromed as well.1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)

Deleted his browser history afterwards as well.........
Wouldn't mind upgrading my commuter with some carbon forks and a Ti frame along with a few lighter bits and pieces.

Dream bike so it doesn't have to actually exist, right? Ok; hybrid geometry with drop bars set higher than usual, disc brakes, tyres as thin as is practical considering my weight, hub gears, belt drive, integrally fitted light brackets, fitted mudguards*, GPS tracking system for retreival after theft, and a top weight of about 1 gram. And a red bell.
