Sore knee and Achilles

I've recently switched to a new bike and recently have been feeling a tightness in the back of my left knee. It feels dead center right in the middle back of the knee. The tightness also seems to extend out into my hamstring.

After the last couple of long rides (75 & 100 miles) I've had a slightly sore achillies on the same leg.

I'm guessing it is a bike set up issue. Any advice on what I should try and adjust first?

    I had this recently - my right Achilles felt like a rusty cable inside a dirty casing for days. Not 100% on what caused it, but judging by Sheldon Brown's page, and the fact I just put in a new seatpost, I'm going with saddle too high.
