If you could only ride one bike, what would it be?

they did a few "silver carbon" mojos a while back, so basically it was just a silver carbon weave, looked crap IMO. Alternatively they could just do a Ferrari f40 and put so little paint on it you can see the carbon anyway0 -
The RC car I used to race had a carbon fibre chassis shell, which had this weird amber luminescence to it, as if they'd used amber for the resin. It looked awesome!
Silver though, would look pants, yeah.0 -
a 140mm HT with with Magura thor (11 chassis, 09 internals) forks, formula the one brakes... flow rims on pro 2 hubs. and an XT/XTR 1x10 drivertrain... a reverb post and some shiny finishing kit...
as for the frame... hard to say, maybe a Ragley Ti... in clearcoat.
colour scheme would be sliver frame with grey silver and black parts...I like bikes and stuff0 -
andyrm wrote:Predictable I know, but if I could only have one bike, it would be my Edison. 29lbs, 6 inch adjustable travel and variable geometry, low maintenance and bombproof. Not really anything more I could ask for in a bike.
Agreed!
Mine has now had all the upgrades I want. When the new wheels arrive it should be 28lbs (ish). Rides fantastically well, much better than a "big" bike has any right to. Everything is stupidly simple to service. Anodized frame wears really well, colours look good. Easiest and by far the best travel adjust system I've ever come across.
Makes me wonder why I ever wasted so much time debating wether or not to get one in the first place.0 -

The trail is always greener on the other side of the county border line... So long as that other county isn't Lincolnshire :shock:0 -
Either a Trek Fuel EX or a rumblefish.
If I had to get rid of my current MTB and my road bike I'd have a 29er hardtail with rack mounts.
As quick up, down and along as a 120-140mm full susser but also as quick as a hybrid on tarmac.
A bike with rack mounts and 700c wheels is on my list for whatever my next bike will be, I miss touring and being able to get a weeks shopping without having to scrounge a lift.I had to beat them to death with their own shoes...

Or something that might replace something like that.

if i could only ride one bike it would have to be one that rides up as well as it rides down (lets ignore how bad i am at riding bikes)
for that i would need adjustable geometry at the touch of a button
for that it would be my bionicon, its so good that i sold my other bikes (except for my oldest stumpy for the wife and my hrdtail POC for qualification in HT vs FS threads).
the edison ruined bike riding for my other bikes really as it descends as well as my previous enduro and is actually a better climber than the stumpy was.
shame its a bit ugly though.0 -
My dune
Just changed about a bit set ip with 2*10 with a 24-38 up front and 36-11 at the back. And some kind of sexy dropper post and i'm happy0 -
